Leonard F. Suprise

Leonard F. Suprise, 66, of Janesville died April 9, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born February 26, 1947 in Monroe, WI, the son of Frank and Orva (Wilcox) Suprise. He was a U. S. Army veteran. Leonard married Carol Stadt on May 8, 1971. He formerly was employed as a over the road truck driver and more recently until he retired as a truck driver for Stateline Recycling. He was a member of the Footville American Legion Post.
Surviving are his wife, Carol, 2 sons, Rodger (Dawn) and DuWayne (Elizabeth) both of Janesville, 4 grandchildren, Coleton, McKayla and Lily Suprise and Landon Hass, his mother, Orva Suprise, 1 sister, Yvonne Simmons, 2 brothers, Don (Beth) and Dale, half brother, Jeff (Josie) Davis, brother-in-law, Leo Sickler. He was preceded in death by his father, 2 sons, Ronald and David, a sister, Karen Sickler,  his grandparents, Louis and Nora Suprise,Clark and Augusta Wilcox.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Janesville. Pastor Randall Senn will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. April 20th at the Church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the family. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home assisted the family.
